Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dallas arranged a small farewell session to express their gratitude to Imam Hanjra Sahib, who is moving to serve the Jamaat in the Los Angeles area. Imam Hanjra has been in the region for the last 10 years and have created a lasting impression in the hearts of many within and outside the community. His attachment with the children is specifically notable and has been shared by many who spent their entire teen years under his guidance. It was a very emotional event yesterday and we pray to Allah that Imam Sahib be able to continue this rapport wherever he is serving and may help create a generation of value honoring Ahmadi Muslims. As a young man from Houston noted yesterday, he was instrumental in giving the religious, Islamic, moral teachings to our youth and as a Dallas dad put it – helped shaped our sons and guided them to where they are today.
Dallas Community also used this event to welcome the new missionary for the region, Imam Mubashir Ahmad, who has moved in from Silicon Valley where he has been serving. With 4 children and 11 grand children, he is looking forward to connect to the membership of all ages and he believes he is lucky to have Imam Hanjra paved the way for him. May Allah bless Imam Mubashir and help us make use of his knowledge assets in the best way.
