At Tuesday night’s Allen City Council workshop, Lee Battle, assistant director of community development, presented an update on the comprehensive plan for the city of Allen moving forward in the coming years.
The comprehensive plan is a broad document laying out the policies for how the community will develop and grow over time. According to Battle, the city is looking to expand development in three major areas: along SH 121, around Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen at Exchange Parkway and around Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm.
