As you know, we are going through some tough times and on the verge of a World War. During this time, we must return to the basic principle of true justice as the only means to achieve lasting peace. For many years, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has warned the major powers of the world to heed the lessons of history. When His Holiness addressed a bi–partisan group of members of Congress on Capitol Hill in 2012, he explained the vital importance of just relations between nations as the blueprint for a path to global peace.
As people of faith, we all believe that prayers are the most powerful weapon against war and injustice. We need to come together and convey the message of unity and strength and our shared beliefs that all Innocent lives matter. We need to demand justice and ask our leaders to act immediately to avert a World War III in the making.
Please join us and other interfaith leaders for this special meeting.
- When: Friday November 10th at 7PM
- Where: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, 1850 Hedgcoxe Road, Allen
- Speakers from: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, First United Methodist Church and others
“I wish to make an appeal for prayers relating to the conditions of the world today. Over the past few days, the war between Hamas and Israel has been ongoing, due to which civilians on both sides, including women, children, and the elderly, are being killed or have already been killed without distinction.”
